Intermediate 2 Ukulele: 4-Week, Online Course (Updated for 2021)

Sustain soaring at strumming, persue progress at plucking, beat barre chords, score stealth musical theory and level up from Intermediate 1 with camaraderie, encouragement, and help along the way.

What’s included?

  • Video tutorials with practice guidance
  • Play-along videos
  • Timing and strumming suggestions for set songs
  • Add weekly video class – meet up with your classmates
  • Completion certificate

When you have completed the tutorials, you can choose to submit videos to get feedback on one full song or on specific tips on any of the songs, or you can join a group class if timezone permits. The group class times are here. You can ‘repeat’ each class as many times as you want to for up to 6 months after you’ve booked the course – the videos remain open to you. Your classes will be recorded and you’ll have lifetime access to these.

Join this course if you’ve done the intermediate 1 course, or have equivalent learning from somewhere else.

With a maximum of 6 people in a class, this course will enable you to play moveable chords, learn to play a few scales to help you to improvise a little with your ukulele. You’ll get to know your instrument a bit better, and play your ukulele using different voicing (inversions) of chords. It’s a great way to get out of the ukulele plateau of only playing first position chords. It’ll open up the fretboard a lot. Like the earlier courses, you’ll learn 3 new songs each week, with new strumming or finger-picking patterns, and we’ll provide online resources to help you with your practice at home. If you put some time, in between the classes, you’ll get a lot out of the 4 weeks. This course is a great way to improve your skills, meet new people, and have fun.

If you put some time in on your own ukulele in between the classes, you’ll get an awful lot out of these 4 weeks as we’ll provide you with resources, backing tracks, and in-between tutorial support for you and your new peers. All you need to do is bring yourself, a ukulele, and practice for at least 10 mins per day between classes. Does that sound good? Then we look forward to getting you strumming!
